Dorzox Eye Drop
- Dorzox Eye Drops (Dorzolamide) is used to treat intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or glaucoma. It is used by patients specifically in order to manage and alleviate the associated symptoms.
- Dorzox Eye Drops (Dorzolamide) are administered in the same way that most eye drops are. Patients prescribed this medication will usually be instructed to dispense 1 droplet into each affected eye, between 1 and 3 times each day. Bimat are eye drops given to alleviate intraocular pressure in patients diagnosed with glaucoma. By alleviating the pressure the risks of blindness associated with this condition are significantly reduced.
In addition to aiding patients suffering from glaucoma, Bimat Eye Drops can also be useful for those with hypotrichosis of the eyelashes as when applied to eye lashes it can encourage growth and thickening.
Dosage and administration
If you wear contact lenses always remove them before applying the eye drops.
To apply, hold your eye open and carefully squeeze a few drops into your eye. As soon as you have done this slowly close and reopen you eyes to help spread the liquid over the eye.
In order to apply the eye drops to your eye lashes you will need to purchase additional applicators from a pharmacy. To apply, squeeze a one drop of the solution onto the applicator's tip, then run the applicator along your eyelash. Each applicator should be used for one eyelash only and immediately thrown away after use to avoid contamination.

Brimocom contains Brimonidine
Brimonidine (bri-MOE-ni-deen, brand names Alphagan and Alphagan-P) is a drug used to treat open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Alphagan is also used to induce miosis for people suffering from poor night vision after Lasik or PRK surgery.

Brimodin contains Brimonidine
Ophthalmic Brimonidine is used to lower pressure in the eyes in patients who have glaucoma (high pressure in the eyes that may damage nerves and cause vision loss) and ocular hypertension (pressure in the eyes that is higher than normal but not high enough to cause vision loss). Brimonidine is in a class of drugs called alpha adrenergic agonists. Brimonidine works by decreasing the amount of fluid in the eyes.
Ophthalmic brimonidine comes as a solution (liquid) to instill in the eyes. It is usually instilled in the affected eye(s) three times a day. Use brimonidine eye drops at around the same times every day, and try to space your 3 daily doses about 8 hours apart. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Use brimonidine eye drops exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of them or use them more often than prescribed by your doctor.
Brimonidine eye drops may control your condition, but will not cure it. Continue to use brimonidine eye drops even if you feel well. Do not stop using brimonidine eye drops without talking to your doctor.
