Uses
Bimat are eye drops given to alleviate intraocular pressure in patients diagnosed with glaucoma. By alleviating the pressure the risks of blindness associated with this condition are significantly reduced.

In addition to aiding patients suffering from glaucoma, Bimat Eye Drops can also be useful for those with hypotrichosis of the eyelashes as when applied to eye lashes it can encourage growth and thickening.

Dosage and administration
If you wear contact lenses always remove them before applying the eye drops.

To apply, hold your eye open and carefully squeeze a few drops into your eye. As soon as you have done this slowly close and reopen you eyes to help spread the liquid over the eye.

In order to apply the eye drops to your eye lashes you will need to purchase additional applicators from a pharmacy. To apply, squeeze a one drop of the solution onto the applicator's tip, then run the applicator along your eyelash. Each applicator should be used for one eyelash only and immediately thrown away after use to avoid contamination.

Ophthalmic brimonidine comes as a solution (liquid) to instill in the eyes. It is usually instilled in the affected eye(s) three times a day. Use brimonidine eye drops at around the same times every day, and try to space your 3 daily doses about 8 hours apart. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Use brimonidine eye drops exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of them or use them more often than prescribed by your doctor.

Uses:
Latoprost ophthalmic solution is a topical medication used for controlling the progression of glaucoma or ocular hypertension, by reducing intraocular pressure. It is a prostaglandin analogue that works by increasing the outflow of aqueous fluid from the eyes.

Travatan(Travoprost) belongs to a class of medications called prostaglandin analogue. It acts by increasing the flow of natural eye fluids out of the eye, thus reducing the pressure inside the eyes.

Travoprost lowers pressure in the eye.

Latanoprost belongs to a class of medications called prostaglandin analogue. It acts by increasing the flow of natural eye fluids out of the eye, thus reducing the pressure inside the eyes.

• This product contains two drugs used to treat high pressure inside the eye due to glaucoma (open angle-type) or other eye diseases (e.g., ocular hypertension). Lowering high pressure inside the eye helps to prevent blindness. This medication works by decreasing the amount of fluid within the eye.
• Timolol belongs to a class of drugs known as beta-blockers, and dorzolamide belongs to a class of drugs known as carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. How to use: Read the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you start using timolol/dorzolamide and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions regarding the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist. This medication is for use in the eye(s), usually one drop in the affected eye(s) 2 times a day, or as directed by your doctor.
• To apply eye drops, wash your hands first. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. Some products contain a preservative that may be absorbed by contact lenses. If you are using a product with a preservative and you wear contact lenses, remove the lenses before using the eye drops. Wait at least 15 minutes before putting in your contact lenses. Tilt your head back, look upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Hold the dropper directly over your eye and place one drop in your eye. Look downward and gently close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner of your eye (near the nose) and apply gentle pressure. Try not to blink and do not rub your eye.
• This will prevent the medication from draining out. Repeat these steps for your other eye if so directed. Do not rinse the dropper. Replace the dropper cap after each use. If you are using another kind of eye medication (e.g., drops or ointments), wait at least 10 minutes before applying other medications. Use eye drops before eye ointments to allow the eye drops to enter the eye. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same times each day. It is important to continue using this medication even if you feel well. • Diamox contains Acetazolamide which is used to prevent and reduce the symptoms of altitude sickness. This medication can decrease headache, tiredness, nausea, dizziness, and shortness of breath that can occur when you climb quickly to high altitudes (generally above 10,000 feet/3,048 meters). It is particularly useful in situations when you cannot make a slow ascent. The best ways to prevent altitude sickness are climbing slowly, stopping for 24 hours during the climb to allow the body to adjust to the new height, and taking it easy the first 1 to 2 days.
• This drug is also used with other medications to treat a certain type of eye problem (open-angle glaucoma). Acetazolamide is a "water pill" (diuretic). It decreases the amount of fluid that can build up in the eye. It is also used to decrease a buildup of body fluids (edema) caused by congestive heart failure or certain medications.
