CarEd 4 Educational Program
Striving to accomplish our mission, we realize that it’s not enough to simply provide our clients with the essential necessities; it’s imperative that they are prepared and equipped for sustained success. Through our CarEd 4 Educational Program, we provide education and training in four primary areas – Diet/Nutrition; Health/Safety; Parenting; and Continuing Education. We want our clients to know that they are truly CarEd 4 beginning with baby and beyond.
We offer more than 20 educational classes ranging from health and safety to parenting, life skills and job readiness, many of which are prerequisites to receive benefits through our organization. All classes are administered by trained professionals and some classes provide our clients with certifications, such as CPR. Classes are offered both online and at our training facilities.

HOPE Support Program (Helping Out by Providing the Essentials)
We seek to ensure that young expectant mothers have access to all the resources needed to care for her infant in its first year of life. Essential layettes are supplied to the mothers who desire and need our help.
We realize that the ability to provide the essentials during the first year of the child’s life is critical as it relates to the mother’s decision-making as well as the well-being of both she and the child.

HOPE Referral Services
The Baby and I Foundation is aware that there are a lot of mothers and babies in need of help and support. Our programs and services have been developed to provide help to clients who meet specific criteria. However, due to budget constraints we are unable to service everyone. We take great care and consideration in referring mothers in need to resources throughout the community. It is our desire that if we are unable to provide service for you (for any reason), we will do our best to connect you with someone who can. Access HOPE Referral Services
MAMAS Program (Moms As Mentors And Supporters)
We understand the importance of young, often times inexperienced mothers having the support they need to become the successful parents we believe they can be. Our MAMAS Program connects experienced, successful mothers with young expectant mothers as mentors. Our mentors provide guidance, support, accountability and even friendship to help ensure that both mother and baby successfully transition into their new life together. Apply for the MAMAS Program
Testimonials
"As a single mother and student at the University of Missouri, I would like to commend your organization on its efforts. I am from St.Louis and living there when I first gave birth to my child, there were not many supporting resources that I could utilize. I often times felt isolated from others because they didn't understand my situation. It wasn't until I went back to school with my daughter where I met other parents who were just like me and we became each other's support system. We were always willing to give information that could help another parent. It is nice to see organizations like this striving to better the well being of single mothers."
