The Baby and I Foundation | Mission & Vision

Mission Statement

The Baby and I Foundation will provide assistance to economically at-risk expectant mothers ages 14-24 in the Metro-Atlanta area. We reassure expectant mothers that they will have access to the essentials needed for the successful delivery and development of their newborns for the first year of life. We will provide prenatal and postnatal services that facilitate parental success, thus enhancing the well-being of both mother and child.

Vision Statement

The Baby and I Foundation will reduce the risks of terminated pregnancies and the number of infants who enter the foster care system each year, by providing assistance to economically at-risk expectant mothers and their babies. The Baby and I Foundation will serve as a beacon of Help, Hope and Happiness that promotes the importance of nurturing relationships between the mother and child.

Our program facilitates parental success through programs designed to enhance the well-being of both mother and child. By assisting low-income expecting mothers for one year, the Baby and I Foundation can help enrich the lives of the mother and the child/children, and ensure that they both receive Help, Hope, & Happiness.

Our mission helps prepare young adults to become productive citizens by providing a working and learning environment where they feel challenged, respected, and accountable as they strive to meet the demands of adulthood.
