Tim Springer was the main force behind the development of the Minneapolis bike artery, The Midtown Greenway. This will be a 20 mile ride that will take 2.5 – 3 hours

Staff-featureDr. John H.L. Odom, Jr. is a board-certified medical doctor who specializes in sports medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado. He completed a primary sports medicine fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center in 2003 during which time worked as team physician at Bethel College, University of St. Thomas, University of Wisconsin River Falls, Northwestern College and Hopkins High School.

Dr. Odom covers the Twin Cities Marathon, Chicago Marathon, USA Triathlon, MN High School State Tournaments (football, basketball, baseball, track, cross country, and dance). He is currently the team physician for Northwestern College, the medical director of the USAT National Championship Triathlon (2007-2010, 2013), the Liberty Triathlon (2006-2010, 2013), the USA team elite triathlete team physician, and the medical director at Wellspring Health Center. He has served as team physician at the USA Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, and he regularly teaches sports medicine fellows.

  • Aging As Athletes is a designed to share knowledge and strategies for those who are living in the new era of aging. John Odom is a board certified MD and currently serves as a team doctor for US Snowboarding, US Freeskiing teams and medical director for USAT National Championship Triathlon

The FIT is IT

F.I.S.T. and GURU certified expert fitter Bob Sumada will show the finer points of fitting using the GURU dynamic fit system. This the same system used by Team Cannondale and Team Garmin.

5:30pm – 7:30pm:
Dinner on Your Own at the Surly Brewery and Restaurant
