Menu Selection
Donovan’s offers a number of Custom Menus for private parties. If you have guests with special dietary needs of food preparations, please contact us promptly with the specifications and we will work with the Chef to ensure all guests enjoy their dinner at Donovan’s.

Audio Visual Capabilities
Our Ocean room is set up for during service dinner presentations. It supports a portable screen and LCD projector, as well as mounted HD flat screen televisions with projection abilities. In the event you feel a microphone is needed, a wireless microphone is available. All of our dining rooms have capabilities to show your specific logo or theme on our HD flat screen televisions and its own over-head speaker capabilities. The process is as easy as plugging your player into the wall. All rentals or hookups are subject to a minimal fee which will be added to your bill.

Parking Accommodations
Valet is $15.00 and is located directly in front of the restaurant. There are self-parking garages within walking distance. Upon availability, our complimentary shuttle – the DonoVan – seats up to fourteen guests, and provides transportation to and from the event. Allow our world class drivers to provide a stress free ride to your evening out at Prime Seafood. Please make these arrangements with the sales team prior to the day of your event.

Personalized Service
We personalize your menus with a company logo, a title, or a picture. It is a complimentary service and creates a personalized feel for your event. We also welcome special requests no matter how big or small. With over a decade of doing business in San Diego, Donovan’s has cultivated relationships with many prominent event-related businesses in the area. From wedding cakes to personalized photography, our sales team will assist you in creating an unforgettable event. Look at our vendor list for recommended photographers, florists and more.

Deposits and Payments
We require a contract created to guarantee all aspects are covered for the dinner event and a credit card is required to confirm your event. To ensure protection of your personal information, we collect this information over the phone. No charges will be made to that card until the night of the event unless authorized. Arrangements can be made for third party payments and advanced payment. Donovan’s Prime Seafood does ask for a deposit when your event is contracted in advance by 3 months or your event will take place in two of our dining areas. We will provide an agreement form to be signed acknowledging the collection of the deposit.


All beverages are charged on consumption. Non-alcoholic beverages are not included in any set pricing or proposals. Our wine list is updated weekly to ensure vintages and availability. However, if there is a specific wine you are looking to enjoy with your event, contact the sales team as soon as possible and we will do our best to order it for your event. Pre-selected wines for dinners will be opened as they are consumed. We also offer by the hour or specific levels of alcohol packages. We will comply with your specific needs and ensure that your service team will have all the proper information.
