The Crime
Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000.00 REWARD to any individual that can lead authorities of the Rosenberg Police Department to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspect that murdered Lloyd Cryer.
On September 16, 2010 Lloyd Cryer was shot in the chest during a robbery at his business, Cry Baby’s Pawn Shop, 4305 Avenue H, Rosenberg and died a little more than 2-weeks later. The suspect, armed with an old-style revolver met Mr. Cryer at the back door of Cry Baby’s Pawn Shop. The suspect said, “I’m not here to do your grass; let’s go get the cash.” and forced Mr. Cryer to open the safe. After opening the safe, a struggle occurred and Mr. Cryer was shot once in the chest by the suspect.
The suspect is described as a large build black male, 40 — 50 years old, approximately 6’2” tall and weighed 270 pounds. He was clean shaven, bald and wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and scuffed up white shoes.
Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers and members of the Rosenberg Police Department are asking for the public’s help with any information on the identification of this suspect or the circumstances surrounding the murder of Lloyd Cryer.
