Through direct action, Yuba Sutter SPCA promotes the humane treatment of animals, educates our community on responsible pet care, reduces pet overpopulation through an aggressive spay/neuter program and celebrates the human/animal bond.

Mission Statement

The Yuba-Sutter SPCA is a non-profit organization established in 1995. Our primary objectives and goals are:

1.) Provide a low cost animal spay/neuter clinic meeting the need for affordable animal sterilization in our community.

2.) Decrease domestic animal overpopulation in Yuba and Sutter counties, ultimately decreasing local governmental costs by reducing the need for expanded animal control services.

3.) Decrease the occurrences of animal cruelty and inhumane treatment by decreasing the excessive number of unwanted domestic animals.

4.) Provide animal care expansion services, such as low cost vaccinations, which encourage people to properly care for there animals and reduce suffering from preventable diseases.

5.) Provide educational services to inform and motivate the public toward taking action to spay and neuter their pets.
