I am hopeful that Mir will pull it out, he is a more technical striker, submissions seriously, but the x-factor is power and control. If Brock imposes his will on Mir like he did to Randy what will happen? I still hope Frank pulls it off to save the sport from becoming the WWE. The fact that Dana likes a Chuck/ Anderson fight makes me think that is way we are headed.

here we go on this fight. First of all who ever said that mir will beat brock in stand up doesn't know what they are talking about. Brock has strong hands if you remeber that drop mir not once but twice in there first fight. the only way mir will win is if they go to the ground and brock isn't thinking clear. if he loses his concentration and gets caught again. as far as chuck vs. silva this isn't WWE this him giving him what silva wants tough competion spider wants to fight the best in light heavyweight and middle weight and dana is giving it to him. this will be a good stand up match but still see silva winning the match

I see what you are saying, and nobody doubts Brock's power, but Mir, like Couture was, is a better technical fighter than Brock (read the post). Brock isn't even close to the same level as Mir on the ground 2 yrs BJJ vs. 15? Blue belt v. Black? Can you honestly say that Chuck is at the top of the 205's right now? This is for the ticket/ ppv draw just like the Brock/ Couture fight, accept it or not.
