Was on youtube.com the other night and I decided to look at Alistair Overeem's career highlights and i got to say I'm very impressed.

       This guy is tall, powerful, versatile striking, knowlegable grappler, very well rounded. He's fought some of the best and lost a few won a few. One thing I saw was this guy knows his ground game. He's goo off his back with guillotines and armbars, he's good with takedowns, and pretty good with ground and pound. He has K 1 experience and is a knock out artist with his hands and knees.

    He still looks a little raw with some jiu-jitsu but he can handle his own, and he still ducks his head when throwing punches. In my opinion he's a hell of a fighter. His muay thai is excellent he throws those knees hard and fast and very accurate. His length gives him an advantage over most. He's one of the most skilled heavyweights I've seen.

    Possible match ups with Fedor Emlienanko, Andrei Arlovski, Brett Rogers Fabricio Werduem, Paul Buentello could solidify him as a great heavyweight. I hope to see hiom in the UFC soon.
